ZY1000 online demo

The ZY1000 online demo gives you live access to a ZY1000 and target on your own machine.

It works by running a Java applet on your own computer that forwards TCP/IP traffic for the ZY1000 web, telnet and GDB server respectively.

Available target hardware

We have a large library of various targets. Chances are that we have something that closely resembles any ARM(ARM7, Cortex, XScale, etc.) based part that you are developing for.

In the online demo you will find instructions on how to upload and debug a precompiled binary for that target.

Using the ZY1000 online demo

The online demo is the real thing. You gain unrestricted access to both the ZY1000 and the target hardware.

Main Main

Performance

Obviously the performance of the ZY1000 online demo will be a lot worse than what you will experience with the ZY1000 on your LAN.

In particular the GDB performance will suffer as GDB does not e.g. use a sliding window protocol.

Still you can measure the performance of e.g. programming flash or loading applications by using the web GUI which will upload your test application to the ZY1000 and perform the programming in two separate steps. The second step is executed and done entirely by the ZY1000 and target directly, which will give you the actual performance numbers that you will see when connecting the ZY1000 to your own system.

If the ping time is too high, then you may also neet to set the GDB remote timeout higher(default is 2 seconds). Type "set remotetimeout 10" to set the GDB timeout to 10 seconds.

Submit contact form for access to live demo

Please submit the form below and we will check our library for the target that most closely resembles what you are looking to use the ZY1000 for.

We will then hook up the closest matching hardware and contact you with instructions on how to run the live demo.
